Reforestation Cooperation with the Croatian Telecom
This year, Hrvatske šume and Hrvatski Telekom will have a mutual action of reforestation of 20 hectars of burnt areas around Benkovac, Hvar, Makarska and Metković.
Award for Hrvatske šume
Participating at the 45th International Flower Exhibition (Floraart) in Zagreb, from 26th till 31st of May, Hrvatske šume exhibited a composition of forest seedlings, ornamental shrubs and wooden products, for which the company was awarded the 1st prize of the Croatian Chamber of Economy as the most successful domestic exhibitor, as well as for the look of the showroom and the presentation of its business activities.
World Championship - a Chance to Promote Croatia
During the first press conference on the topic, member of the Board of Hrvatske šume, Božidar Longin, and Head of the Office of ialc ialc Johan van Rhenen reported on the state of the preparations for the 29th World logging Championship to be held on Jarun, Zagreb, from 23rd till 27th September 2010.

Czech Forestry Students in Croatia
The almost forty-year-long cooperation between the Forestry Faculties in Brno and Zagreb, started by the Academic Slavko Matić, resulted in a regular student exchage in field education. This days, Croatia has received a visit by a group of forty post-graduate students of the Forestry Faculty Brno, together with their professors from the Department of Silvicuture.
